Original Story: A police K9 named after the God of Mischief has gone missing in Montgomery County.

Loki was last seen at around 3 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8 in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Jackson Road when the Belgian Malinois got away from his handler and ran off, officials say.

The dog has black and tan hair, and will be wearing a collar that says "Police" on it.

The department advised that if one is to see Loki, they should not approach or chase him, but should instead immediately call 911.
